Jules is an impact investor, 3-time entrepreneur and ‘intrapreneur.’ She is currently Partner at LunaCap Ventures, an early stage venture debt fund investing in military veteran, women and minority (MWM) founders, and was previously COO of gender lens investing pioneer BRAVA Investments.

As an entrepreneur, Jules was co-founder & managing director of Evolve Law (acquired by Breaking Media), a legal innovation community, was co-founder & COO of Hire an Esquire, a venture-backed on-demand labor marketplace for the legal industry, and was founder & managing director of Carbonado Group, an on-demand workforce of environmental sustainability experts. Previously she spent nearly a decade as as an ‘intraprenuer’ helping companies including Ernst & Young, Salesforce.com and Tiffany & Co. to launch and grow new business units around environmental and social responsibility. At Ernst & Young, she started as a consultant in the Venture Capital group, including working on the Entrepreneur of the Year program, and helped the firm to launch and grow both the Cleantech and Climate Change & Sustainability business units.

Jules has served on the board of nonprofits including the Metropolitan Opera Guild and the NY & SF Chapters of Net Impact. She is the first East Coast member of the UCLA Venture Capital Fund, was a 2015 NYC Venture Fellow and was a diversity scholar to the Stanford / 500 Startups VC Unlocked program. She is currently a Kauffman Fellow and a #BUILTBYGIRLS mentor to high school girls pursuing careers in tech. She earned her BA from UCLA and her MSc from The London School of Economics.
