Jules is an impact investor, 3-time entrepreneur, ‘intrapreneur’ and hands-on operations expert. She is currently Partner at LunaCap Ventures, an early stage venture debt fund investing in military veteran, women and minority (MWM) founders, and was previously interim COO of BRAVA Investments, a holding company investing in companies that economically benefit women.

As an entrepreneur, Jules was co-founder & managing director Evolve Law, a community of entrepreneurs dedicated to accelerating the adoption of technology and innovation in the legal industry, and was co-founder & COO of Hire an Esquire, a venture-backed labor marketplace providing an on-demand workforce of attorneys to law firms and in-house legal departments.  She was previously founder & managing director of Carbonado Group, an on demand workforce of environmental sustainability experts, and spent 7 years as an ‘intraprenuer’ helping companies including Ernst & Young, Salesforce.com and Tiffany & Co. to launch and grow new business units around climate change and sustainability. At Ernst & Young, she started as a consultant in the Venture Capital group, including working on the Entrepreneur of the Year program, and worked with investors to provide diligence and market data. She then helped the firm launch and grow both the Cleantech and Climate Change & Sustainability business units, and conducted the first carbon footprint for the firm.

Jules is an active member of the NYC Tech Community and passionately supports and mentors female tech entrepreneurs. She is a LEED AP, has served on the board of nonprofits including the Metropolitan Opera Guild and the NY & SF Chapters of Net Impact, is the first East Coast member of the UCLA Venture Capital Fund, and was a 2015 NYC Venture Fellow. She earned her BA from UCLA and her MSc from The London School of Economics.
